Girls' and Mixed Football Options
Girls aged 5 to 16 are encouraged to consider playing in our all-girls competitions, where they have the opportunity to develop and play alongside other girls of similar ages.
Girls can also choose to play in mixed competitions with boys. Both options are available when registering, and we support players in whichever competition they feel most comfortable playing.
For girls turning 17 or 18, the available option is the girls' competition, as players transition into women's or men's football rather than mixed junior competitions. Once players turn 18, they can move into Women's All Age football.
When Are Games Played?
- Girls' and mixed teams Under 5 to Under 11: Saturdays.
- Girls' teams Under 12 to Under 16: Sundays.
- Mixed teams Under 12 to Under 16: Saturdays.

Women's All Age and Over 35s
We encourage women of all ages and experience levels to get involved with football at Gosford City FC. Whether you're a current player, returning to the game after a break or picking up a football for the first time, we'd love to help you find a team.
Women's football offers more than just the opportunity to play. It's a great way to stay active, enjoy time with others and be part of a team.
Women's All Age
Our Women's All Age teams cater for players aged 18 and over.
Whether you're looking for a competitive environment or simply want to enjoy playing football, we welcome new and experienced players to our teams. Women's All Age games are played on Sundays.
Women's Over 35s
For women turning 35 and over, the Over 35s competition provides another opportunity to keep playing football alongside others in a similar age group.
With games played on Friday nights, it's also a great option for women who want to keep their weekends free while still enjoying being part of a team.
Joining a Women's Team
Some players come together with friends to form their own teams, while others register individually and are helped into an existing team.
We can assist with both options and would love to hear from anyone interested in playing women's football at Gosford City FC.
